Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 was released on the 2nd October. In this series of posts, I’ll be going hands on and installing the majority of the components; some of them, such as Analysis Cubes for Excel, which are little used, I won’t be covering.

Microsoft announced the release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 on the 2nd October. I am going to be doing a fresh install of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2 and will be using the full installation download.
The installation media is now available for download from Microsoft CustomerSource 
(CustomerSource login required).
If you’re doing an upgrade, the service pack can be downloaded from the CustomerSource service packs page (CustomerSource login required).
I found the download ran both quickly and smoothly, but others have reported some issues with the download. I assume this is to do with the volume of downloads just after release and should settle down fairly quickly.
